Alka at ISM

The 50th edition of the world’s largest high-profile fair – ISM Köln – took place over 4 days, at the beginning of February. The attendance of 37,000 professional visitors ranging from 148 different countries set a new record, even with certain fears due to the coronavirus. This year 1,774 exhibitors presented their innovations and Alka, with products intended for export, being one of them.

The International Development Team along with the brand manager for Elephant presented the new packaging for the Elephant squeezed pretzels.

“In 2019, more than 10% of Alka’s production was exported. For 2020 the plans are even more ambitious and ISM is perhaps the best way to make yourself known worldwide, this year the Alka stand was over 50m2 and we were able to receive over 100 delegations from 43 countries in only 4 days.” – Marius Gaman, Director of International Development
