Alka, in Partnership with Nature Talks for the "ECO Summer School" Project, 4th Edition
For the second year, we are partners in the "ECO Summer School" project, 4th edition—a free and interactive environmental education program for children in Bucharest.
We are deeply honoured to be part of these programs, as we place great importance on environmental education. We aim to encourage curiosity and exploration among young children, turning these workshops into an extraordinary opportunity to learn not only how to protect the environment but also about concrete ways each child can become an active agent of change in their community.
The workshops take place on Mondays and Tuesdays throughout July at the Botanical Garden. They are dedicated for children aged 7-11. Among other things, the little ones will learn about responsible water consumption, how to reduce food waste, and how to properly separate waste.
Additionally, they will discover what air pollution is and how energy efficiency works. These topics are presented with the help of specially designed models built by the lecturers of the Nature Talks Association.
Besides the delicious snacks prepared by Alka, children will enjoy many other surprises.
Furthermore, as we care about the well-being of our community and the environment, we also highlight the environmental courses organized during Green Week (April 22-26) for primary school students in Bucharest. These sessions took place at the Ministry of Environment, Waters, and Forests, as well as the National Museum of Romanian Literature.
So, if you're in Bucharest, we invite you to register your children here and guide them towards a healthy and eco-friendly lifestyle:
