Alka volunteers plant good deeds in Băicoi, Prahova

12 November, 2024

On November 9th, in Băicoi, Prahova County, the Alka volunteer team once again demonstrated that positive change comes through concrete actions and that respect for nature is a value shared by all participants.

In an atmosphere filled with energy and enthusiasm, Alka volunteers, alongside the most passionate environmentalists – the children – contributed to planting saplings, bringing hope for the surrounding environment.

The "Planting Good Deeds" project once again gathered motivated and involved individuals, all united by the desire to support the environment. A total of 13,000 saplings were planted: 9,100 pedunculate oaks, 1,300 cherry trees, 1,300 ash trees, and 1,300 maples.

This substantial effort contributes to improving air quality, strengthening the community's connection to nature, and providing future generations with a concrete example of environmental responsibility.

Although the effort was significant, smiles and positive energy dominated the entire day, and the volunteers' involvement transformed this action into an event full of hope and dedication.

The children, with their authentic enthusiasm, learned through this experience what it means to take care of the planet. For many of them, this action was more than just a volunteering activity – it was a life lesson. Each sapling planted, each effort invested in protecting nature, showed that even the smallest gesture can have a huge value when it comes to the environment.

By continuously participating in the "Planting Good Deeds" project, Alka promotes a culture of sustainability and community involvement, supporting efforts aimed at ensuring a cleaner, healthier planet for future generations.

Together, we can make the world a more beautiful place!
