Recently, Alka had the opportunity to join a large-scale humanitarian effort organized by the Scheherazade Foundation, aimed at supporting communities severely affected by the floods in Galați County.

Our contribution consisted of donating over 1,200 kg of savory snacks and biscuits, helping to complete supply packages for families in need. This initiative had a significant impact and was well-received by the local communities and the involved authorities.

Alka's involvement in this project is a clear testament to our commitment to actively support social responsibility and assist communities in critical situations.

The severe floods that hit Galați County caused the destruction of numerous households and local infrastructure, isolating many villages and limiting access to essential resources such as water, food, and hygiene products. Many people lost their homes, belongings, and livelihoods, being forced to evacuate and seek temporary shelters.

The situation is even more difficult for those who were already living in precarious conditions and who, as a result of this disaster, lost everything they had.

In this context, humanitarian aid becomes crucial in supporting people who have not only lost material possessions but also the safety of their homes. Our efforts contribute to restoring balance in these devastated communities and providing real support to those who need it the most.
